Anyone still need a Wii?

A year ago I worked at Best Buy for a few months. During that time we would get 30 Wii consoles in and they would be gone within 15 minutes. It was an exciting time all right. We'd have to get the security bands on them quick and get them to the floor. They usually wouldn't last to the shelf as people knew they were coming. Like Spidey-Sense.

I recently visited my nearby Best Buy and found this startling image. Here are 33 Wii units sitting out on the floor. I'd been in the store for about 30 minutes and they were all still there when I left.

I went looking for sales figures on Wiis and how they must've gone down dramatically over the past year, but I got distracted by Shigeru Miyamoto teaching a kindergarden class to play Wii Music. He's the creator of the game and it was too cute for me to ignore. Who cares about sales figures anyway?
